People that fight crime and generally do the right thing with little regard to "laws"- might actually be very anti-government, unable to trust them to handle everything right so they take matters into their own hands...maybe stand against the government itself if it is boiling with corruption.
Sounds a bit like what Jesus was like too. He did what was the right thing and was not intimidated by man's stupid law... like when it came to working on the sabbath and all that silly jazz. ^^

I love CG. I love it when shitty-fantasy "evil" traits, like intelligence, stealth, scientific worldviews, rejection of dogma, eccentricity, etc., are portrayed with the HEROES.
